Helli: Hey Adriana, you seem a bit worked up. What's up?

Helli: ハイ、Adriana！何だかちょっと悩んでるように見えるけど、どうしたの？

Adriana: Helli! Boy am I glad to see you. I am so stressed about this new report I have to do. I'm supposed to analyze these charts and graphs but I don't know where to begin. For all I know this could be written in Chinese!

Adriana: まあ、Helli!会えてよかったわ。この新しいレポートで頭を痛めてたのよ。これらの表やグラフを分析しなきゃいけないんだけど一体どこから始めてよいやら。これが中国語で書かれてるってこと以外全く理解できないわ。

Helli: Ok, relax Adriana. It's so simple. I'll give you a hand.

Helli:分かったわ、リラックスしてよ、Adriana。簡単だから。手伝ってあげるわ。

Adriana: Ok great! Let's start off with charts. What do these two columns mean?

Adriana:まあよかった！じゃ、まずは表から始めましょうよ。この２列は一体何を示すの？

Helli: Well you can see the vertical column represents the average life expectancy of rats. The horizontal column represents different periods in time. So if you look at one, for example, 1980. Then you look at the vertical column and you can see that in 1980 the average life span of rats was 3 months. It's just that simple.

Helli:この縦の列はネズミの平均寿命を表してるわ。横の列は異なる時系列。だから、例えば1980年を見てみるとこの1980年の縦の列にはネズミの平均寿命は３ヶ月ってなっているでしょ。簡単でしょ。

Adriana: Wow! That really is simple. Now what about these graphs?
