Being liked at the workplace makes it easy to look forward to going to work every day. Besides money and passion I think that it makes up one of the biggest motivators in a job.

8 Ways To Be Liked At The Workplace (English)

With that in mind let痴 take a look at eight ways we can be liked at the work place.

1)Be respectful
It痴 always good to be a respectful person. This helps to set an unspoken rule of how you should be treated in return.

2)Be appreciative
If you appreciate your job and the colleagues you work with, it will be easier for you to have and spread a positive attitude.

3)Do the work that nobody else wants to do
For you to do this, it will require humility. The good thing is that when the company has to let go of a couple of employees, you will not be on that list because you are a rare commodity.

4)Help out colleagues when they can稚 get their work done
Sometimes things happen in our lives that prohibits us from doing what we are required to do at work, it痴 always great to have someone at work whom you know you can rely on if you can稚 get the job done on time -- be that person.

5)Be friendly
Start off with greeting people at work, you don稚 have to be friends everyone, but you can say hello and give everyone at work a smile.

6)Be good at your job
Continue learning new things and growing at work in order to ensure that you are doing what you are paid to do and that you are able to give others advice.

7)Go the extra mile
If you are required to come in at work at eight, try coming in an hour earlier or leaving an hour later -- this shows that you are committed and focused in what you are doing.

8)Be time conscious
This point I stole from the key speaker at my graduation ceremony. He is an accomplished man who continues to grow and build his community. He said that we have a lot of rights, but what we don稚 have the right to do is waste people痴 time because time is precious.
